Materials Needed:
  • Denim outfit
  • Bleach
  • Bucket
  • Rubber gloves
  • Newspaper or plastic sheet
  • Sponge
Procedure:

1. Fill ¾th of a large bucket with warm water. Add one to two medium bowls of bleach to the water. Stir the water thoroughly.
2. Though two bowls of bleach is sufficient, you can vary the amount to be added depending upon how much faded you want the outfit to be. But, make sure that you don't exceed the quantity.
3. Once the solution is ready, wear the rubber gloves. Doing this will prevent your hands from burning due to the bleach.
4. Now, dip the denim garment in the bucket. Remember to open the folds before dipping and further spread it properly. For this, it is best to use the biggest bucket available. Make sure that your jeans are completely soaked in the water and no part is left above it.
5. Keep the denim soaked in this solution for about 10 minutes. Also, you can increase or decrease the soaking time according to the desired whiteness.
6. Keep moving the soaked denims continuously to avoid a single area getting over bleached.
7. Once the recommended time is over, remove the denims from the bucket. See if any area is left unbleached. If yes, you can keep it as it is and have a nice pattern, or follow Step 8.
8. Using a sponge, dab the bleach solution wherever the fabric has been left unbleached.
9. If a larger area is left unbleached, you can reposition the denim and soak it for some more time.
10. When the bleaching process is over, remove the fabric and hang it for drying. Place a newspaper or plastic sheet on the floor below it to avoid any damage to the floor.

After learning this easy process, you would be too excited to try it. So, bleach your denims and get ready to turn all eyes towards you!
